The annual west coast Walk for Life will be on January 24 this year! Who wants to go? We'll set up carpool...It has taken me a great amount of time to finally understand the value of life. In college, I was pro-life only because it's what the Church believes in. Now that I am older, I've come to experience that life is truly the foundation of everything. We are God's loving design, even before we are physically born. To see so many people regard babies as "property of a woman's body," is the utmost contempt for everything our Faith stands for.
48,000,000 babies have died since abortion became legal in America. In San Francisco alone, there has been more abortions than live births recently.
This is not simply a walk. You will be standing up for all the innocent victims who have died as a result of ignorance and poor legislation. You will be promoting the joy and happiness that flows from a culture of life. However, you will no doubt experience animosity from pro-choicers, and you will feel the hatred they have for the just. You will get to peer into the eyes of those who reject God's love, and realize they are victims as well. Through God's grace, we can love what God loves, but there are those who do not yet see. You can walk to offer penance for them.

Organize your class! Hey, last year Crystal and some people went. And my brother is interested too. I'd be there for sure otherwise. This is the first time I am missing in 4 years! :(
