Schooled by a 12 year old

Some Catholic blogs have been discussing this news story about a 12 year-old girl who wins a public middle school speech contest speaking against abortion. She was strongly discouraged by her teachers to speak about this topic and was not declared the winner at first after causing a "big disagreement" among the judges.

I don't know about ya'll, but I think she killed it (pun and hip-ness intended - I've been watching too much ABDC). What was I doing when I was in 7th grade? Definitely not that. She schooled me. Maybe we can bring her in as a guest CM teacher.

Dude, she's smarter than most people 2.5x her age!! I read somewhere that youth today who were born after 1973, deep down all have to wonder about how to view the value of our own lives because we could all have been easily aborted....
