The other side of contraception

I read this article and I found it really interesting, especially for the Chinese-American-I-have-to-get-ahead mentality. Looking back on my own educational experience, the emphasis was always on technical arts (how to make money) rather than development of real relationships and even less so on who I am. And of course almost nothing at all about my relationship to God (I admit I don't remember anything from my years in CCD, which is largely my own fault). Anyway, I find the article's findings very true here in San Antonio since there are large numbers of single mothers that aren't teens (lots of the undergrads at school). But, assuming sexual activity to be about the same between San Antonio and Bay Area, and the same level of contraception use, what does that say about the number of abortions we have in the Bay Area?

Anyway, here's the article.
